Something has Changed and it's Beautiful (helseyc)

Maybe there has been a shift in the moon which has affected the tides, which in turn has affected my children!
I'm sure of it.

For my 2.8yr old there has been a shift in the way that she relates to her sisters.

This week the girls turned 11months old. Their shift has been the way in which they relate to each other.

Claudia is jekyll and hyde with Erin and Sunny lately. A love/hate relationship. A "here have my toy/no that's mine!" type of interaction. A "come sit with me/ Mum move her!" way of life. There are many giggles as they roll around on top of one another playing and many tears as Claudia manages to forget to call me to move her sisters away and instead deals with the situation herself - with a push to the floor!

Erin and Sunny in the past month have seem to "found" each other. Not that either of them were lost, more that they were co-exisiting. Now they are interacting. They play games, copy each other, chase each other around the room and steal each others biscuits and laugh! It really is a wonder to watch. Life is full of these beautiful twin moments.

What has not changed is their adoration for their big sister. No matter how much she pushes them to the ground or rips the toys out of their hands there is unconditional love, a real special connection and bond.
Claudia likewise is very protective of her sisters and proudly tells other "my sisters!"

Sometimes in the mornings if the girls are up before Claudia, upon waking I can hear her scrambling up the stairs to greet us yelling "hi mum, hello sisters" and then when she sees them enthuses, "hi girls!" It is delightful!

I know the phases of the moon will continue and the tides will keep changing , the girls will change too but I hope their sisterhood bond remains forever.
